The Gulf Coast School Mission Statement
Welcome to the Gulf Coast School! Our mission at Gulf Coast is to provide a place where students will achieve both academic growth and personal development in an atmosphere that is positive and caring. We want our students to feel safe, challenged, and motivated as they pursue academic goals. We realize that a total joint venture of staff, students, volunteers, parents, and community is vital to accomplishing our mission. Together, we're better!!
Gulf Coast is part of the Gulf Breeze Union School District, which includes 603 students in grades 6 through 8. Our staff contains 43 certificated staff members, resource specialist and special day class teachers, a speech therapist, school psychologist, and two school counselors. Our classified staff includes our librarian, P.E. instructor, office and custodial staffs, and 18 instructional aides for student support. We work together through collaboration and shared decision making to provide a balanced program that exhibits strong academic content in an atmosphere that is both supportive and encouraging. Our very active and supportive Home and School Club and parents support us in our efforts!
